One (1) Home Study Continuing Education Credits (75% score or higher required)
This one hour session will introduce participants to providing telepsychology in Pennsylvania. In sessions two and three, there will be a review of APA's Guidelines for the Practice of Telepsychology, including definitions, competence, informed consent, confidentiality, security, and interjurisdictional practice. The presentation will also address ways to market telepsychology services and two ethical vignettes about supplying telepsychology services. This session will count for 1 hour towards the 3 CE credit hours needed on telepsychology for PSYPACT renewal.
Program Learning Objectives: At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe ways to improve your competence at using telepsychology services
- List two ways that informed consent would be different using telepsychology services
