W01 - 3 CE Credits - Introductory

The focus of this workshop will be to help psychologists help clients understand how interactions with social media impact the way that they interact with themselves and others. There will be an additional focus on helping psychologists determine how they desire to show up professionally on platforms, understanding both desired and undesired impacts of potential clients viewing them in the social media space.

1. Explore social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube for evidence of relational dynamics.
2. Discuss techniques to mitigate social media-induced stress, screen-time management, and fostering meaningful connections online.
3. Compare techniques to help clients build resilience against negative self-comparisons.
4. Demonstrate how to handle friend requests, comments, and direct messages from clients while maintaining professional integrity.
5. Design content creation strategies aligned with their expertise and values.
6. Utilize tools for monitoring online reputation, handling negative reviews, and responding to client inquiries to clean or create current social media presence.

W03 - 3 Ethics CE Credits - Intermediate

This highly interactive workshop invites participants to consider strategies for approaching retirement that are both ethical and realistic. Topics considered include assessing our own competency, building communities to support this process, and writing a professional will. This workshop will fulfill the Ethics requirement.

W05 - 2 CE Credits - Introductory

Coercive control is a pattern of acts of assault, threats, humiliation, and intimidation that is used to harm, punish, or frighten the victim. Those who isolate, control and humiliate their partners frequently evidence narcissistic traits. In this presentation we will talk about the "invisible chains" of coercive control and the reality of post-separation abuse.

1. Identify coercive control, post-separation abuse, and what is now called "narcissistic abuse".
2. Support, validate, and empower their clients who are subjected to coercive control.
3. Discuss the cost benefit analysis of staying married versus divorcing a coercive controller.
4. Identify and educate their clients about post-separation financial abuse.
5. Recite Pennsylvania state laws regarding domestic violence and coercive control.

W07 - 3 CE Credits - Introductory

Despite advances in the mental health field there is a need for novel treatments for chronic psychological concerns such as PTSD and depression. Psychedelic medicines may well fill this niche. This presentation will discuss the clinical application of psychedelic medicines including Ketamine, Psilocybin, and MDMA. We will include best practices for working with the preparation, dosing, and integration of these medicines.

1. Identify current approaches to PTSD treatment and how psychedelic medications can address limitations.
2. Describe the legality, therapeutic applications and rationale for use of classic psychedelics, empathogens, and other classes of psychedelic medicines.
3. Discuss factors in providing psychedelic assisted therapy (competence, integration strategies).
