Program Description
Why do some clients criticize or yell at their therapists? Why do some fail to disclose important information or continually say "I don't know"? People's behaviors always make sense once we know what they're thinking. In this presentation, we will discuss how to prevent problems in the therapeutic relationship, how to specify, conceptualize, and solve problems that do arise and how to repair ruptures.

Program Description
Perfectionism is striving for flawlessness in your performance and setting high behavioral standards, thoughts that are usually accompanied by critical self-evaluations and concerns regarding others' evaluations. When perfectionism comes with one's personality, it is expressed through emotional and intellectual intensity, which can make treating it very difficult. Perfectionism can have positive aspects as well as negative. Successfully managing perfectionism can be about releasing anxiety as well as moving from negative to positive perfectionism. This presentation will focus on how to intervene in both areas, as well as presenting practical and concrete strategies for use at home and school.

1. Explain the definition of the positive and negative aspects of perfectionism;

Pennsylvania Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting (Act 31)

Program Description
In 2013 and 2014 Pennsylvania enacted numerous changes to the Child Protective Services Law. The purpose of this workshop is to review the signs leading to the recognition of child abuse and the reporting requirements for suspected child abuse in Pennsylvania. Those mandated reporters who complete this course for licensing renewal will fulfill their requirement for education in child abuse reporting and recognition in Pennsylvania. This workshop describes the child welfare services in Pennsylvania, defines important terms related to the child abuse reporting law, and delineates the responsibilities of mandated reporters, ways to recognize child abuse, and other topics.

1. Describe the child welfare system in Pennsylvania;
2. Define child, child abuse, perpetrators, and other relevant terms;
