The 2025 Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA) convention is poised to explore a variety of transformative initiatives aimed at expanding access to psychological care across the state. Key topics of focus will include prescription privileges for psychologists, enhancing integrated care models that blend mental and physical health services, and leveraging telehealth as a tool for reaching underserved populations. Furthermore, a major emphasis will be placed on multistate licensure recognition through the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT), allowing Pennsylvania psychologists greater flexibility and mobility across state lines. In addition to these core issues, the convention will host workshops that highlight critical leadership development opportunities for psychologists at all career stages. Discussions will also explore diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts within the field, ensuring that psychologists are equipped to meet the diverse needs of the communities they serve. Finally, the convention will offer career-spanning educational opportunities, fostering professional growth and collaboration while strengthening the overall future of the PPA. By addressing these vital areas, the convention aims to shape a more inclusive, innovative, and accessible future for psychological practice in Pennsylvania. By registering for this event, attendees are agreeing to PPA's COVID-19 Event Waiver. Click here to view the waiver.
