Program Description: Many psychologists feel uncertain how or when to address religious or spritual issues presented by patients. By viewing religion or spirituality as a component of culture, this webinar explores ways that psychologists address religious and spiritual issues in a manner that maximizes respect for religious values as well as upholding patient well-being and overarching ethical values.
Program Learning Objectives: At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Address the religious and spiritual issues that patients bring into therapy; and
- Mobilize religious or spiritual strengths to promote patient well-being or ethically address problem areas related to religion.
