Program Description: Many psychologists don't regularly engage in forensic evaluations or therapy, but still feel caught off guard when facing certain family law issues with their patients. It may be more important for most psychologists to first be aware for knowing what family law issues to be aware of, and then worry about figuring out how to navigate those issues. Dr. Allison Otto will explore some of the main traps psychologists fall into, and how best to avoid them.
Program Learning Objectives: At the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Discuss common dilemmas presenting in family law issues while practicing as a psychologist;
- Have increased ability to plan for these issues; and
- Use available resources to navigate these issues.
