This home study reviews basic information about sexual abuse in Pennsylvania and presents clinical information that could lead health care professionals to suspect sexual abuse. This home study supplements required courses under Act 31, but it cannot be used to fulfill Act 31 requirements.
At the end of this workshop the participants should be able to:
1. Define Pennsylvania law concerning sexual abuse; and
2. Identify clinical signs suggesting possible sexual abuse
