Psychologists are vulnerable to threats, attack, and stalking from dangerous individuals, including patients and family members.  There are many possible ways for psychologists to create layers safety in their offices for themselves and staff members.  A small subsection of psychologists will face significant and life-threatening scenarios.  The goal of this podcast is to start a conversation about what psychologists can do to enhance their own personal safety, including carrying a firearm.


The Pennsylvania Psychological Association is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education for psychologists.  PPA maintains responsibility for this program and its content.  The Pennsylvania Psychological Association is an approved provider for Act 48 Continuing Professional Education Requirements as mandated by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
